Data Protection Rights

Your rights

Under Article 11 of KVKK, anyone may apply to the data controller to:

  1. Learn whether their personal data is processed,
  2. Request information if it has been processed,
  3. Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used for that purpose,
  4. Know the third parties in Turkey or abroad it has been transferred to,
  5. Ask for correction if it is incomplete or wrong,
  6. Ask for deletion or anonymisation when the conditions in Article 7 are met,
  7. Ask that the actions in items 5 and 6 are notified to the third parties it was transferred to,
  8. Object to a result against them produced only by automated analysis,
  9. Claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

Who should you contact?

  • About your account (identity and contact details, sign-in records, consents, your own programs and posts): GamGym.
  • About your membership at a gym (member record, payments, check-ins, measurements entered by the gym, signed documents): that gym. The gym is the data controller for these records; GamGym is its processor.

If you are not sure, write to us; we forward gym-related requests to the gym and let you know.

How to apply

Under the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Applications to the Data Controller, you can send your request in writing to [contact address], by registered electronic mail (KEP), with a secure electronic or mobile signature, or from the email address registered in our system. Include your name, surname, phone number and your request.

Requests are answered within 30 days at the latest. Replies are free of charge; if the action has an extra cost, the fee set by the Board may apply.

Complaints

If your request is rejected, you find the reply insufficient or no reply is given in time, you can complain to the Personal Data Protection Board within 30 days of learning the reply and in any case within 60 days of your request.
